Our Mission
Kernersville Rehab Specialists, LLC, is a family owned and managed out-patient physical and occupational therapy facility. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality rehabilitation and wellness services to residents of Kernersville and the surrounding communities.
Through these services, we assist in promoting healing, relief of pain, regaining strength and mobility, developing endurance, and restoring independence and functional potential as quickly as is safely possible. Working with patients ages infants through adults; our therapists identify existing limitations, and then help patients establish goals for therapy. An individualized treatment program is implemented and evolves during the course of meeting or surpassing therapy goals. Referring physicians are routinely updated or consulted regarding the plan of care and progress.
Our clinical services also include providing educational information for patients and family regarding rehabilitation of current conditions and measures for possible prevention of future disability. Following completion of therapy, patients may choose to maintain or maximize their progress in our Wellness Program. Our goal at KRS is to serve our community with the most comprehensive, cost-effective, individualized care available to promote a healthy and productive lifestyle.

We recognize that the interval following illness, injury, or surgery may be very stressful for you both physically and emotionally. With this in mind, using a patient-centered approach, we will try to ensure your experience with us is both positive and productive.
The patient-centered approach starts with our very relaxed, friendly office environment. All of our staff members take the time to listen to each patient and respond with compassion and respect. Professional, experienced therapists work with you individually to develop appropriate and mutually determined therapy goals. To ensure maximum therapeutic benefits for meeting these goals, patients typically work with the same therapist throughout the course of treatment. By providing this degree of personalized care, we endeavor to achieve complete patient satisfaction with our services as well as excellent results in health, function, and quality of life for our patients.
It is our philosophy that your rehabilitation process is a combination of our knowledge and skill, but as importantly, your level of motivation and the effort you invest in both the activities with your therapist and in your individualized home program.
